Keep Calm & Lightroom On! |
The place for Lightroom users to learn, share and seek support in all things Lightroom
|
Founded 2014
The Lightroom Classroom started out in 2014 as a Facebook community where I offer support, share ideas, tips, tricks and useful links and articles, all Lightroom-related, in an environment where photographers can safely and confidentially discuss their issues and triumphs. Out of this stemmed classes we offer, both group and one-on-one sessions.
On this blog I share videos, articles, items for download - both free and paid, a calendar of events, and more. Make sure to subscribe to the blog to receive all the latest updates and new articles right in your inbox.
The Lightroom Classroom is a division of Silver Chameleon (Pty) Ltd. All rights reserved.

About Me
Hi! My name is Gita Claassen and I've been a professional travel photographer since 2008. I founded The Lightroom Classroom when I saw that there was a lack of South African support for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software. The group on Facebook is a platform for free support and learning and membership comes with various perks.
I'm actively involved in the photographic community, and passionate about sharing what I have learned over the years in the industry. I help admin the SA Women Photographers Facebook community, and I'm webmaster on their blog. Licentiate member of the South African Professional Photographers, I'm an alumni of MatadorU, and a working professional photographer. To learn more about me and my work, visit my website.
